Psychology graduates can beat your stress

Psychology graduates can beat your stress
- According to Renu Malhotra, the admissions committee convenor at Kamla Nehru College, a student with bachelors in psychology has a good chance of starting as a counsellor in schools and colleges to help students deal with exam related stress. "Those who go on to become clinical psychologists also find jobs at hospitals. They usually assist patients who have been through a trauma," she said.  In a more corporate set up, students also get employed by HR and recruitment teams of firms and help them understand a candidates' behaviour. But how easy is it for a student to land a job right after a bachelor's degree? "It is always important to study further because a Masters' will help the student get an in-depth knowledge of the subject, which is always an advantage," added Malhotra.
